i know!!!! i'm always scared to listen to new albums from bands i love. well excited obviously, but also terrified. i take my musical disappointments very seriously haha. i get very sad when i listen to a bad album by a band i <3.

Anyone given a serious listen to the new Trail of Dead album?

I enjoy it, but I still can't decide whether I love it or not. It doesn't have the same impact Worlds Apart had on me at first listen, that's for sure. I do plan on trying to see them at the Cradle on wed. They put on a thoroughly kickass live show.

anyone listen to the new P.O.S. on here? I've been liking the stuff thats on the myspace.

Can't remember if its been talked about on here before, havent seen it I dont think..pretty tight hip hop artist who was in a punk band before the hip hop stuff hes been putting out. uses a lot of real drums and bass and stuff in his music - ie its got a real raw old school sound vs the overproduced stuff out today. Its not amazing, but pretty solid and I think the beats on this disc are 10x better than anything I'm hearing on the radio.

make sure you wear ear plugs. i saw them a few years ago at the cradle and couldn't hear for a couple days.

Jupiter One ( http://www.jupiterone.com/ ) expecting their new album to release some time this summer. They just finished mastering it and I for one expect it to be amazing. Sadly no preview tracks that I've seen yet.

Also, their bassist just got robbed (computers and a bass guitar, among other things), so that's something of a setback, and he's now selling off a lot of random things.
