I'd probably start Cotchery...Denver's passing defense is still pretty decent even though their run defense is crap

So you know what you're getting from your PITT and TEN guys in week 1

Is Justin Gage (13 points) worth drafting late and playing in a flex, or should I gamble with someone in the Mike Bell/Anothony Gonzalez level who might outproduce that but could fall flat on their face ?

I'm leaning toward Gage, if no one takes him before the last 2 rounds or so

Reports are coming in, Twitter-style, regarding the status of Eagles right tackle Shawn Andrews,

Per guys like Sheil Kapadia of philly.com and Adam Caplan of Scout.com, Andrews is not at practice on Friday. He also missed practice Thursday, due to his ongoing back problems.

The development likely means that Andrews won't play Sunday at Carolina.

Julius Jones is going against an awful defense in the rams...one of the worst against the run last year...and Addai gets the Jaguars...

Jones will get more points than Addai, hands down. Like twice as many.

I could trade Kurt Warner for Steve Slaton, straight up.

My other RB's are DeAngelo Williams and Brandon Jacobs, with LenDale and Beanie Wells as backups.

Available QB's in FA are guys on the level of Pennington, Campbell, Eli Manning, etc.

Sounds dumb as hell.

Yes, you're RB's would be stacked, but you can only likely start 2.

Secondly, you lose a QB that is by far better than any of those available.

Finally, I am of the opinion that Slaton is highly overvalued and will hit a second year slump in a big way.

DO NOT MAKE THAT TRADE.

I'd say Bryant and Pennington

Coles is what, Cincy's 3rd WR behind Ocho and Henry? Bryant is TB's undisputed #1 WR with Galloway in NE

A general rule of thumb for Week 1 is, barring injuries or horrible/wonderful defensive matchups, play the guys you drafted the highest

Try not to over-analyze and out-think yourself before seeing anybody play this year

Starting 3 WRs and probably a 4th as a flex (b/w a 4th Wideout or Chester Taylor, b/c I probably have Donald Brown as RB3. Bowe is normally a lock starter but not so sure with the Baltimore matchup and an injured Cassel. I'm taking a wait and see until I see how Galloway is used and/or Moss or Welker gets injured. Go with the first 4?

I'd say Avery, but you could just about flip a coin there.

Ginn is facing the worst secondary of the three, though. I've personally never been very confidant in him, though.
