South Boston is great. Alot of NASCAR guys have raced out there. Sadlers, Burtons, Denny Hamlin, etc.

Hell, I saw denny hamlin get wrecked, go 3 laps down, and come back to win a 200 lapper there one night. quite amazing.

probably won't be going back to orange county if they can't get more cars there than that. i'll stick to south boston for my saturday night short track fix.

nascar's phantom debris cautions suck. i wanted to see that Brazilian lap the whole field.

i listened to Jeb Burton a lot b/c i was curious to see what kind of driver he is. dude's an idiot. after a pit stop:
Jeb: "i don't understand. i'm at 3650 and they're just blowing past me on pit road."
Ward: "that's second gear, son."
Jeb: "oh, yeah, i was in first. sorry."

he also complained about having to start at the very back after he got the lucky dog. spotter pretty much said "um, we were a lap down and they put us back on the lead lap. stfu whiner."

i went to rockingham this past saturday. 75 lap UARA late model race. 100 lap NASCAR K&N East race. 75 lap kimmel street stock race.

nice weather and good racing. had some final lap wrecking in the K&N race that ended up deciding the season champion. they also turned one over on the back stretch.

man, we really need to go to SNS this year. i spent countless saturday nights there when i was a kid watching some of my dad's engines kick ass. i've heard the facilities and racing are both great.
