whining isn't what opposing fans really hate. Its the constant gloating, showboating, taunting and celebrating that opposing fans hate most and that was on full display last afternoon. I love it, always have. I think it adds excitement to the game either way but other fans HATE IT. you guys would hate it if unc did any of it. You even called Lawson the n word for the dunk lee did twice.

Lawson was a starter. Lee is basically a walk-on now. They get a free pass. Also the game was still in question at that point, IIRC.

Also please show examples of taunting and gloating (besides KW doing crotch chops - hilarious btw). Washington is pretty much the only guy who did anything you could remotely consider taunting, but I wouldn't because they didn't do anything to or in the direction of opposing players. The guys were hyped up. They made good plays and got excited.

And yes, I hate players who whine to the refs more than players who are loud/demonstrative after dunks/blocks/big plays.

I guess they should just solemnly run back down the court after every huge basket, politely shaking hands and exchanging business cards.

And the recruiting info and insider info (especially during coaching searches) was nice. But it also was mostly stuff that would still come out publicly a day or two later.

NC State beat Duke so soundly that they never recovered mentally from it and even the Cameron crazies couldn't help them from that slump. 3 freshmen starters, previously undefeated, less than 48 hours removed, too much to coup with.
