my kid goes to an older school that has several buildings each with multiple entrances. got an email couple weeks back saying NEW SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS! they put a lock on the door to the main entrance so people have to get buzzed in. so all it did was make it a pain in the ass for visitors with no real safety improvement. thanks.

At the VT shooting, Cho chained the doors shut to prevent people from escaping. If you have only one door to begin with, that will certainly save future Chos the additional trouble of ensuring their victims have limited escape routes.

What law would have prevented this one though? Restraining order = no guns? He wasn't a convicted felon and he used a shotgun, which almost nobody advocates for restricting.

Only thing I can see is if he had gotten him some mental help for this ax he's been grinding for seven years. Not sure why he's so pissed they covered a case that he plead guilty. Maybe a take all the guns from the crazy people law? Fuck I don't know, but this shit sucks.
