^Really glad that they had her shoot the rocket at the propane tank rather than just shooting it with bullets to make it explode. It annoys me when TV shows/movies just make things explode from being shot.

Awesome opening episode. Really geared up the action, violence, and gave a little backstory on Terminus. That was pretty messed up how they just had everyone lined up on the trough to kill them. I hope Rick cuts his hair soon, I feel like it's been caked with dried blood and sweat for a while now.

Regarding Tyrese, not so sure I believe that he really killed broseph. It didn't show his death on screen, and the only exceptions to that rule have been Sophia and Merle (at least from what I can remember)

Great opening. The gore was definitely turned up and the action was as well.

I was surprised that terminus was "ended" so quickly. I thought they would draw that out for at least a couple more episodes.

The only thing I'm worried about is now they are back on the road and the storyline will be more of the same. Terminus was pretty interesting and exciting but now it "seems" that it is over.

Yes and no, haha. I'm glad that she had to use the firework, but seemed a little farfetched that she'd be able to just launch that thing and hit it first try guessing on the trajectory. I mean I'll allow it, but still seemed like a reach.

Was surprised they spent an entire season building up Terminus just to have it destroyed in 1 episode. Glad they confirmed the cannibalism and interesting they showed the back-story of what drove them to being so sadistic. Also think it could eventually be a nice lead-in to another major storyline from the comics if they choose to tie the 2 together.

If Terminus was indeed meant to replace the story of The Hunters, I'm a bit disappointed. I really thought the Hunters were great villains/enemies in the comics and thought their back-story was really crazy.

Was the Morgan thing actually after the credits? It almost seemed like it was the intro to Talking Dead (I think it was past 10 when it showed it.

I don't think Terminus is "over"

Apparently I had DVR'd some thing from like a week ago that was a look at the coming season. Looked like there were some scenes with Rick trying to convince the Terminus leader dude that they needed to get to Washington. So yeah, I dunno if they'll go back there or run into some Termites on the road, but I don't think that storyline is done.

I don't think so either -- the main guy (the one that Rick told he was going to kill with the machete) was never actually shown to be dead. Rick shot him in the shoulder but he was up on top of that building so prob temporarily safe from any zombies and it looked like he was far enough away from the fire. He's prob gonna come back for vengeance at some point in the future and get killed with the machete.

That's not really what happened though. It was really the zombie heard. Carol blew up the tank, used the herd as a cover to get into the place, shot like 2 people to get in and walked around while the others were dealing with/getting killed by the herd. Then she shot the one woman. Without the herd as cover, distraction, and killing off a lot of them, she never would have gotten in there with weapons/out of there.

I don't think Terminus is entirely done either. I think there will be more of "then" stuff to show them taking it back and how they changed. And I think some of them, especially the main guy, will meet up with the group again.

I think they may try to show some parallels between rick's change from wanting to be peaceful to a very "them vs us" attitude and wanting to kill people even when not necessary (he wanted to go back and kill all of them) and that guy's similar development through the "then" flashbacks.

For those wondering about weirdo tattooed face man, he was the bad guy in the flashback at the end of the episode who told Gareth (Terminus leader), "No, it's not," when Gareth was telling his mom everything was ok. Seems like they had kept him in that thing as torture when they really did take Terminus back.

Also, I really, really hope those symbols have to do with Rick and that's why Morgan seemed interested, but I thought Rick's group went past the No Sanctuary sign? Didn't it look like those symbols were before the sign (almost to a 7 o'clock position)?

They made a big deal about Rick wanting to go back and kill everyone off, and that nobody wanted to do that. I think it is going to come back and bite them in the butt that they didn't take care of all of Terminus. Got a feeling it will lead to this season's main character kill-off.

The season opener was one of my favorites so far. I was expecting at least one main character to die. I don't recall any main characters dying the second half of last season, so they are due.

Immune to being killed off: Rick & Carl (main characters), Michonne (i'll stop watching if she dies)

Unlikely to be killed off: Glenn & Maggie (show needs at least one love story, right?), Daryl (too much of a fan following), Abraham (too badass to die just yet), Eugene (too much plot around the future of his character), Morgan (idk, he seems to be a hyped up legendary character at this point)

Not shocked if they died: Carol (she just hit her peak), Sasha or Tyreese (one of them will bite it, drama = ratings), Rosita (Maggie is all the sex appeal the show needs)

How did they make it this far?: Bob (lol, I keep guessing he's going to die every episode, so watch him outlast them all, and the show renamed the walking bob), Beth (the second half of last season was the only time I felt she was of any significance), Tara (GTFO plz, worst actor on the show as well)

I disagree. I think they showed that threatening Judith plus pitting him against a horde was his breaking point. I think he savagely beat that guy to death.

As for Michonne's katana - I'm guessing Carol picked it up somewhere. It's too iconic for her character to not have. If she doesn't have it now she'll get it, or another one, back at some point.
