I'll probably won't get any more games this year unless from the bargain bin or eBay. The main two I want now is Guitar Hero World Tour or Smackdown 2009. I've been wanting to play College Hoops 2K8 b/c I refuse to play what EA is going to put out this year. Other than that, Fallout 3 or something like Pure would be something I wouldn't mind getting.

I must say, that is one of the best games

I love the voiceover and all of the comments.

I've beaten the game, and now working on the challenges and achievements, but it's definitely worth it to me.

Speaking of the challenges, does anyone know how to beat the first one with only 3 portals? That's the gold, and I can only get 4

But I think the main game is the same, but the challenge maps are different? Something along those lines

Most people that have OB have commented saying "I don't want to pay $15 for 14 extra maps", but i'm not sure which are the 14

I'm pretty sure Episode 1 of the Penny Arcade stuff was 1600 points, so the price is coming down.

And if more XBLA games cost1600 it would mean there are more games worth $20. The crappy games will (almost) always be cheap.

The price has come down from episode one, but I do like to think of it as if the prices rise then we'll see better quality games. Personally, I love the XBLA; I've played more of those games than my actual X-box console games.

I am excited about being able to download the games onto my hard drive. I refuse to play Woods 09 until I can download it to my console so my disc drive will not spin erratically because it'll be played from my hard drive. Woot! BTW, for those that don't know, you still have to have the actually game disc so it can be verified before you can play a game downloaded to your hard drive.

wow, just got done playing the NCAA Basketball 09. it is really, really bad. I don't think I ever felt like I was controlling any of the players. "tempo" is just another gimmick that EA is trying to sell.

With Netflicks, how exactly does it work with the Xbox? From what I understand, there will be TV shows and movies on this service, correct? Is it all free once you have a Netflicks membership? Or are there additional costs?

Let's say I have the basic $8.99/mo plan, and Xbox Live Gold, and RR Standard (not Turbo)....what am I able to do?

Do TV shows come out soon after they are broadcast? For example, when would a Heroes episode become available? How complete is the online library?

Sorry for the extreme n00bing questions, I just know that TWW is an endless source of info.

I think you need the 3 at a time plan on netflix to get unlimited instant watch access or else you are limited to X number of hours.

Finally beat Star Wars Force Unleashed tonight, and I'm kinda disappointed

It was fun the first half of the game, but then when most enemies were amazing blockers, or were immune to most of the things I could do, it was just annoying

and I was very disappointed in the dark side ending

I have to say, I haven't had as much fun in a long time as I have today playing Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. It's so awesome.

For those that don't know, it's not your typical platformer like the other B-K games have been. You go around finding parts to construct your own vehicles and it's really pretty cool. I ended up spending hours just messing around trying to find the best combination of wheels. Of course it doesn't have to be that complicated if you don't want it to be, you can just use the pre-made stuff, but this game is like having a set of legos that you get to drive around in afterwards. So much fun.
