So how about it works on keeping my face from being oily if I use my Prescriptives liquid foundation, but my face still gets shiny with the mineral foundation from Avon

It also works well with my M.A.C. foundation.

hard to put into simple terms, but essentially:

devestatingly huge error has been made, only because i've assumed people would do the job the way it was designed, and how i clearly laid out

not according to some random guy who has no high-scale visibility or understanding of the business processes involved.

i do.

and they're not listening to me, and disregarded my design.. and that's exactly why i was brought into this project.

as a consultant.

three days prior to factory acceptance testing this is brought to light, and has been hidden from me, and all of the corporate level people involved.

after 9 hours on the phone yesterday and today trying to explain why i specificially designed everything the way i did, they're making a snap decision to go their own way, invalidating > $500k in development and deploy, and opting to take a path which is only going to fail so fucking hard and they dont see it. primarily b/c they have no undersanding of what they're doing, at all.. and their local project leadership has no fucking reign on the project at all.

and i'll be on the hook.

i'm evaluating my power play for the next step, which level of leadership I can go to in order to try and save this sinking ship.

it's so frustrating being a technical consultant and watching the project failboat while the project leadership blindly spins its wheels and goes against all levels of corporate guidance and restrictions.

there's a reason guidance exists. it's b/c it's right.
