Assuming Mizzou is offering similar monetary compensation, then if I were a coach I'd look at conference (competition), history, commitment of school to basketball, locale, facilities (thx Lee), recruiting potential, television exposure, etc.

Some are subjective, like the location, but I would think we'd match or exceed Mizzou on most other metrics. The argument that the NCSU job is less attractive b/c you have to compete with UNC and Duke is stupid, IMO. Any self-confident, self-respecting coach would see that as a positive. To be the best, you've got to beat the best. Ambitious, confident coaches shouldn't want a pushover conference.
