I've been talking about this since he got reinstated. Regardless of how you feel about him, he is a double threat- doesn't have the best arm in the world, but what he can do on his feet makes up for it. I don't like the guy, but I don't have to. Combine him with the run game that is already there, and you have a scary thing going on. He also would be back in the NFC south, the division he "grew up with." Once again- I DO NOT LIKE THE GUY- but I do (or at least did a year ago- I'd have to look at the options now) think he would be a good option FOR THE TEAM- TO PLAY AND COMPETE WELL- NOT TO RAISE PUPPIES, BUT TO PLAY THE GAME OF FOOTBALL


hopefully I clarified that I don't think he is a good person but that he is a good football talent

joey porter, ray lewis, and dante stallworth are other examples of this

Vick doesnt have elite speed anymore though. Maybe he'll get it back once he's completed back in "football shape" but this past season he definitely didnt have the burst of speed that he did when he was with the Falcons

I dunno man, he's going to be 30 when the season starts, if Ladainian Tomlinson lost his burst at 30, I could definitely see Vick losing his as well.

Plus there was an interesting discussion on the radio the other day about how Vick might not have the courageousness he used to have before going to prison and becoming "humble". Meaning he could be a little more scared of taking a hit and would think about that before leaving the pocket

With that said, I wouldnt want Vick to be our QB. I'd rather have Matt Moore
