I forgot that quality was a direct correlation to popularity. My bad!

I always wondered why they made Tyrese such a flake but I see now Tyrese never wanted to be a part of all of that was happening. Survival of the fittest? That's not living. So peace out. Good arc.

They spent, what, 20 mins of air time on his death trying to be artfully convey some message.

And it was fucking stupid.

That's how you know your directors and writers suck. It's like shooting 20% on 100 shots in a basketball game.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. i liked the "inner monologue" T had going on with those he had personal experiences with, displaying how much mental anguish he was going through. I always thought his character seemed to be one of the most uncomfortable. I liked how the 3-4 second clips from the beginning of the show (the view of the trees passing by through the truck window, the framed picture of a house, the girls saying it's OK), came to make sense by the end. I think by the second half of the episode it was apparent he wasn't going to make it, but I was holding out hope, just because he was a good dude.

i guess i'm in the minority

^ I liked it, too. I really like Tyrese (the actor and character)... It was creative and documented the characters death process in a really cool way.... it conveyed a lot of emotion, viscerally.

I get that some people hate the governor, that's cool. Wasn't the best part of the show for sure. Not as bad as the truly boring season 2 though. But you suck if you shit on the episode just because there was a flashback of him.

I think it's the still one of the best shows on TV.

Why was Tyrese getting so worked up over seeing the two boys (twins) in the pictures??? Some background info there of him knowing them or being related to them?? He was getting FURIOUS and breathing heavy when he looked at pics.

Maybe not........just was my observation.

^I interpreted that as him reaching his limit regarding being able to cope with the reality and gravity of what the world has become. Seeing happy photos of children and feeling overwhelmed by the sadness that these (and all) innocent children have been killed or at least are now subjected to living in the effed up zombie apocalypse. I took it as he's been carrying this huge emotional burden and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

this show is everything but subtle. these zombie less show have a theme.

it was people losing their faith and being in a state of beyond doubt vs Deus Ex Machina or God's intervention

-dogs
-water
-shelter
-the tornado( I guess that was what that was)

a tornado full of zombies? . now that's an idea that was squander

oh that's the quietest baby on the planet. they lucked out.

^^^They couldn't embrace the zombie-nado, Z-Nation already tackled that and SyFy dominates the tornado with shit in it game, haha.

Think they're trying too hard to push the themes in the show. We all know that the humans are really "the walking dead", but for Rick to say it just seemed forced and unnecessary.

Also when the zombies hit the barn doors...why does no on yell for help? Daryl doesn't call for help, Maggie sees him struggling and helps but doesn't say anything. I mean I get being quiet in general, but at this point, with a huge storm out, is yelling really going to attract that many more zombies?

If there is one thing Daryl doesn't do well...it's cry. That scene was horrible.

And yaaaaay, it's A-A-Ron!

This group seems to be hating the way WD is going. I have enjoyed the last two episodes. Even though, I hated Tyrese dying, I understood and enjoyed how they presented it.

Last night episode was enjoyable too. My fiance and I very much enjoy the direction the show is going and never really feel that a episode was terrible. We may not enjoy every scene, or question something, but as a whole the episodes are well done.

So is Abe literally walking dead after he was cut with the knife tainted with z-blood. Don't remember if that is dangerous or not.

I don't think so. They've been pretty vague about that and there's been tons of instances where they've been covered in z-blood and guts, sprayed in the face, etc. they didn't freak out due to exposure to eyes or mouth or open cuts.

I like the episodes where they are struggling.

The show has started reminding me of the video game in some ways, like the dog encounter.

No Abraham should be fine. They're all infected already, doubt the little slice was enough to get him sick enough to die. Seems like it takes a full-bite to get enough of an infection to kill them.

Well it's like Carol said, "Even though you were wrong, you were still right." Can't trust anyone and have to be super skeptical.

Basically every "group" they've trusted so far has tried to kill them in some capacity. Not sure why anyone wouldn't be really hesitant to trust something like this, even with pictures and free food/water.

And A-A-Ron took that punch like a champ.

I wouldn't even call it "Asshole Rick", I'd call "Justifiably Cautious Rick". After all the shit they've been through from trusting people in the past, I just would have left knocked the guy out and left. Even after hearing the kids playing from the gates, I still wouldn't trust him (and given that Rick hid that gun, it looks like he doesn't too).

And what's up with Michonne btw? She's suddenly saying "We are doing this" without even talking to Rick first or anything and he just goes with it? I know she's extremely level headed and stuff but I'd think they would at least talk in private before making major calls like that.

Ditto on Topher Grace.

not sure why it matters though since next week is quickly going to be the series finale. I mean they are in a safe place now so what else are they going to show other than wrapping things up?

I don't think the dangers they face while in Alexandria will come from within Alexandria or from zombies. Probably going to be attacks from other survivors.
