Whether e.g. can be used at the end of a phrase. I have no reason to say it can't given its meaning, but it gave me pause because I've never seen it that way and all proper usage notes involve it at the start of a list or phrase.

Based on the definition of e.g., it makes better sense to use it before the examples given.

I don't know that it's incorrect to use it at the end of a sentence, but it doesn't make sense to do so.
