If it's a customer-facing piece or something at all professional in nature, then it should probably be changed. Because the reader will probably have exactly the same reaction.

I worked from home until January so I drank DURING work many an afternoon...

But, yeah, a lot of people in my office in San Francisco, including my boss, went out like twice a week and had drinks at a place right on the bay... I sort of miss that a bit I guess.

i know some jobs you simply can't risk it


with all the funding that research companies get, if you find out that you had intoxicated scientists doing the research (no matter how minor), it could void an entire study

it's stupid, because I think one beer at lunch isn't going to do anything


haha saucer even had a "working lunch" special- you got 2 entrees, 2 beers, and 2 breath mints for 20 bucks (actually a good deal if you got a pricier beer)

There were probably 6 people in my relatively small office between 24 and 34 so it was a little different environment and we would go out (on days I didn't have school) for like 3 or 4 drinks just to avoid the subway rush.

My company in NC before I moved was much older and I didn't really do much with them. There was one girl my age but she was married already and didn't ever do anything but go home.
