Found a single Landmine at Target in Knightdale yesterday. They also had several Cliffjumpers, but I passed. I just don't like that they didn't sculpt a new head for him.

Is there any word on whether Masterpiece Skywarp (and Thundercracker, for that matter) will be seeing a US release?

Axelay, Mums the word on Skywarp, just import him. Completely worth it.

And Thundercracker isn't even confirmed to exist yet. Everyone knows its gonna happen, it just hasnt yet. I would expect an MP-07 of some form before they jump onto another repaint and have 'cracker be MP-08, but who knows.

About to test if I'm feeling any better by hitting up Crossroads to look for new TFs. If this goes well, I may try eating XD Nothing could go wrong with this plan...

camshaft is already out and he sucks (swindle repaint but gray. exciting )

not sure about the others, but after buying all the new stuff, and then a commander cody and getting on a SWTF kick, my wallet could use the break.

Evac is really cool, other new voyagers are just "meh". Ironhide repaint is a really dark blue, so it gives you a color scheme not radically different from the original. Bring out a red one already.

Saw these earlier in the day. Prowl is absolutely the best of the bunch. That was my very first Transformer EVER, and this one definitely is a great tribute. I don't know what to think about the others, though. Sunstreaker would look a lot better if the engine was in the right place, but Powerglide is just strange. I am hoping it's mistransformed.

The wings fold up to the torso and the arms hang off the bottom of the wings. See what they did there with the new one? I'd say its probably not mistransformed.

...but it is the ugliest of the bunch.



Also I'm sure its for copyright reasons but changing Octane's name to Tankor = ugh. Don't remind me of the shit that was Beast Machines plzthx.

Yeah, the prototype looks OK. I'm not crazy about the jet exhaust boobs or the huge chin gun, but maybe these could be altered slightly.

yeah he basically folds in half to transform, but i sorta dig him

i'm liking incinerator a lot more than i thought i would, his automorph is interesting and his action feature doesn't get in the way - it's like a transmetal cybershark done better

i do wish they did something better with the back half of the osprey when in robot mode though

if you can transform him back to vehicle mode without accidentally popping off half a dozen things on your first try, you're a better man than i

I'd like Incinerator a lot more if he actually had hands instead of blades. LOL. That always seemed kinda silly to me, and I know there are a few more Transformers which have this problem.

The figure set feels like a freebie once you're done with Botcon.

That and compared to what the "official" Botcon Hotel costs, $285 is cheap. Its maybe 1/5 of the budget for a Botcon trip, not counting alcohol as that budget depends on who shows up.

And holy fucking hell, it looks like one of the exclusive figs is going to be ANOTHER repaint of Cyb. Crosswise. Repainting the Classics Seekers is one thing, and I admit I got sucked into buying a mediocre fig because it was painted as Smokescreen, but another mediocre Cyb. deluxe in a $285 set?
