Someone want to fill me in on why Brackman isn't going to pitch at all in the regional?

And yes I know Duchess died but surely that is not the reason?

I saw it on ESPN and was surprised to not read anything about it here

Brackman is not pitching because of tightness and soreness in his throwing elbow. He threw a bullpen session on Wed. before the team left and was a no go. The team hopes he would be ready for next weekend if they make it there.

With Avent coaching that is not going to happen.

With Brackman not having pitched in the last month his draft stock has really take a hit. He has gone from a top10 to 15 pick before that to might not even get drafted in the first round now.
