Haha see, I don't mind reading spoilers. I mean, I can read them now, but chances are in 3 weeks when the episodes air I won't remember anything.

Though I will say that I read some Grey's Anatomy spoilers last year before the finale and was really disappointed because I knew George was going off to the Army and leaving the show before it even got brought up in the show. Of course, I was surprised at just how they played the whole Army thing, so it worked out in the end.

I don't mind reading spoilers either sometimes, but with all of those taglines being for August episodes it skipped the June 19th and 26th episodes. So reading the first one on the blog for Aug 2nd it was a HUGE skip in the plot with me stopping to say, "WHOA! how do they get there?! AGH!! I don't wanna know!!"

fuck yeah, +1 on this one....i thought i was just reading into the scene but im glad you noticed it too.

last nights episode was pretty interesting to me. daphne? being a shape shifter, eric's past and more on the other telepath. i actually like the speed that the plot is progressing. i think this show allows for a lot of character development since some of the vamps are centuries old.

for me last night's episode seemed to just be all about, "ok...you were probably thinking XYZ...here's your confirmation." I had sneaking suspicions about Eric/Godric and Daphne...and Jason/Sarah was just a matter of which episode that would finally happen in.

No doubt about it though, it was a great episode for character and relationship development obviously with all the sexy time scenes and cuddle bug moments--btw, Jessica/Hoyt CUTE!!!

I'm just ready for it to get more dirty



I also think I'm spoiled b/c last year I caught a S1 marathon around new year's then finished it up about a 1.5 months b4 the S2 started. So I got to pretty much watch all of S1 uninterrupted this week to week is killer!! which is why i now have the books

other than paquin being naked/semi-naked, i get tired of the whole "omg bill and sookie are sooo into each other." i'm kinda, we get it, they like each other's privates, the whole heat filled sex scenes are kinda worthless as far as the show goes.

i wish they would just start the show w/ paquin naked and/or in see through shit, then move on to the show. even better, just make a paquin naked show on hbo and i can watch that one separately!

The episode was of low value not because of the the relationship shit, but the lack of titties during the relationship shit. Anyway, paquins tits are old and busted. Bill's redhead vampire are the new hotness. Oh yeah, total fucking tease with preachers wife.

I was also annoyed by sookie's stupidity with the other telepath. Is she really so stupid she can't see how telling everyone they are telepaths is bad?

I've really tried to like this show because my girlfriend loves vampires, and consequentially this show, but NOTHING EVER HAPPENS. I feel mildly entertained after watching an episode, but I also feel like some asshole is playing a joke on me for continuing to watch.

^^Yes...I watched the show first then read the books. I'm enjoying both immensely. Of course, since the series is only based on the books there are many differences, but the core is the same. I'm actually more excited about the series now, wondering how they'll take it, since some differences (like Lafeyette dies in the books) are shaping up to be pretty damn interesting
