they're moving this slow because they don't have enough evidence to arrest the husband, however i think they probably know it's him and are just trying to find something that a jury will agree with. surely you saw the pictures of the crime guys removing all that shit from their house? a couple things that looked just like a pillow and a rolled up carpet? everything that the news has reported, every picture that has been taken and posted online - all of that helps people form opinions, good and bad, right and wrong. relax - it's just an opinion. so sue me if i have an opinion about this particular case - in case you didn't notice, this thread is filled with people's opinions, so what's one more?

the cause of death is just like another piece of evidence - they aren't releasing it in hopes that when they do nab the killer, he/she will slip up and reveal something during the course of the interview that wasn't released to the press, thus incriminating themselves.

that's honestly the best thing for the cops to do. the more information you release to the media, the more muddled the investigation gets and the harder it is to track down a killer. obviously there are few clues in the case, which is why the cops are saying next to nothing. unfortunately, while it is probably benefiting the investigation, it is sorely damaging the reputation of the husband, who has pretty much been burned at the stake already by the media, and he's not even named as a suspect yet. even though i think he did it, i also think it would be HILARIOUS for them to get hardcore, solid evidence against someone else - as in, make this a completely random killing - and have the husband shown to be completely innocent. talk about a big FUCK YOU the media, huh

given the amount of time that has passed without he husband being named a suspect despite the presumably thorough investigation they did at the house, i'm sure that he is not a suspect. people think its the husband because its been painted that way since it gathers attention and brings in ratings.

if its someone random, homeboy is still fucked because deep inside everyone will believe he did it still. He'll have to move away from this area, i just hope he gets his kids back because its likely that a good portion of the stuff her family claimed about him at the time was bullshit feeding off of people's emotions so they'd be more likely to receive the children, which they want since i'm sure they're as myopic as thumper and assume it was him as well.

i thought at the start of this thing that it was him, but i no longer believe that to be the case. in fact, i don't even think its someone that is associated with him.

if they had an actual suspect, that wasn't the husband, i feel as if that information would be released. people who commit these sort of crimes- especially when not random- don't go home and sleep well at nights without fearing getting caught. whoever is the responsible party already knows its possible that they're a suspect and releasing that information would only marginally change the flight risk.
