This grizzly bear album is great. I'm thinking of going to see them in June at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. They're playing with TV on the Radio

god damn, the new Grizzly Bear is just awful.

I would say I hope it will grow on me, but it's boring me to tears.

I don't find the album boring at all. To me, it's like nothing I've heard before. Every song is so dense with so many different types of sounds. And while there aren't any traditional "hooks" I find that the songs really work themselves into my head. I think this is gonna be a pretty huge record

I hope it grows on me. I only listened to it once yesterday and that was enough.

I'm going to give it another go today, though.

Ed Droste is one of the most articulate and smart folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and you can't help but pull for the guy... so, obviously, I really want to like this record.

alright, I'm back to retract my "awful" statement on Grizzly Bear.

After about 4 listens this afternoon, it's certainly growing on me.

I like "Two Weeks", "All We Ask", "Cheerleader" and "While You Wait for the Others" a lot now.

My interest in the decemberists has been steadily declining in the past few years, and this album does absolutely nothing to change that.

I expected at least a few good chill out Royksopp melodies but any decent sounding melody on this release gets raped almost instantly by some high pitched sega genesis shit. Melody AM and most of Understanding make me bliss out but this album grates on my nerves like a motherfucker. I respect the fact they try to experiment with something different each album but this was definitely a disappointment for me.
