THE SAGA CONTINUES

Hey everyone. We are on the precipice of Season 2 of TWW's most popular game, the Football Pointspread Challenge. For the newcomers, or as a refresher for the veterans, lets go over the rules again.




Rules for Normal People:

1. I will select 7 games every week, and you pick 3 games of your own. At least one college Wild Card, at least one pro Wild Card, and one wild card wild card
2. Only sides & totals. No halfs or quarter plays. NO MONEY LINES! NO POINT BUYING!
3. I will post the records weekly, and update YTD records as well.
4. Do not post college picks after noon Saturday, and pro picks after noon on Sunday.
5. Please post your own lines and be honest.
6. This is a lot of work for me so please make it easy for me and follow the rules. If you do not follow any of the rules listed above I will not credit you if you win but if you lose I will record it.
7. If you are not an active poster than I will remove your name after one week of no posting. You may come back if I deem you have learned you lesson, but will have to start over.

Rules for the fucking inbred retards:

1. Post your name, plays with spread and YTD record. Example: Jack Hoff Washington +25 over the Harlem Globtrotters 0-10. Actually your name is not required but your play, spread & record are.
2. Only one chance to make each pick. You have 30 minutes to edit your post. You cannot go back and change a pick you have made. You can make the picks at different times, say 3 picks on Wednesday and the rest on Friday, but each post must contain all previous picks, so that you have one final cohesive post for me to reference when I'm compiling records. Don't clog up the thread with bullshit, for fuck's sake. Oh I am sorry. What am I thinking? I could just quit my job, leave my family and spend hours looking through previous pages so that I can update your pathetic record.
3. Please do not tell me how much you are playing on the game. I do not give a fuck. I do not care if you are that Two for the Money guy or Pete Rose, all plays in this thread are equal.
4. No prop wagers. Does Brett Favre retire before the 2nd quarter of next week's game is not a play!
5. No Moneylines! Oh that Florida -9000 to win over Charleston Southern was a risky play. What a stud capper you are. Please.
6. Do not post inane RecieveDeath-level driven in this thread. No OMG fuck Tyrod Taylor, why did they run the clock out and blow my cover, oh man I lost by half a point poor me, etc. type shit in here. Keep it streamlined.
7. If you post in in the general sports betting thread, do not bring any of that shit in here. I do not care if are hitting 70% in the Scottish Games, Underwater Hockey, Women's lacrosse, Midget tossing, or Celebrity Pee Wee golf. Just fucking football.



Now that that's understood, we have five new slots available this year, for a total of 15 contestants. A few have already expressed interest; I will announce the full field sometime later this week. If any of the returning members want to give up their spot, let me know.

Since the NFL doesn't start until the next weekend, our first week will be all college. The lines will be posted soon enough, but the seven games are decided. They are:
