Pierrepoint is actually very good... Not at all what I was expecting according to the description, but in a good way.

It's more about the guy's personal story, how he copes with being an executioner, and how he separates his work from his personal life

Nice. They added a lot of movies with the new deal. I see Iron Man and Star Trek on that list that weren't there before.

Blow is really good for 30 minutes, before you realize it's a shitty attempt at recreating Goodfellas

Bela Fleck: Throw Down Your Heart is amazing. Bela goes to Africa to record with traditional African musicians.

I'm currently in the middle of the Godfather trilogy.

Agreed on Son of Rambow. Was having a "so shitty it's funny" movie night with some people and after twenty seconds of Ace Ventura Jr. we switched to this.. couldn't believe how entertaining it was

We wound up watching "The Secret of Kells". It's an animated (kids?) family movie, but it's really stylized and artistic and good. Really good.

are there any good scary movies on netflix instant? i don't like stuff like saw. i like actually creepy/thriller type movies. just because it is gorey and fucked up doesn't make it good (for me)

the devil's backbone isn't scary at all (i don't think it is supposed to be...well maybe slightly creepy) but it was really good (subtitles, for those of you that don't like them)

Paranormal activity is all about suspense and paranoia, it's more of a chills down to your soul feeling vs just straight up shock and gore like a slasher horror film
