Yeah, I was stuck at the Cracker Barrel off of I-40 at the Raleigh Durham International Airport because I had to pick up Kate from work that day. I couldn't leave once I got there! I recall people coming in all day to eat. All of them had abandoned their cars on I-40 and walked up there.


I'm dead serious. This has the makings of that event, the snow will start in the day and people will all try to go home right when it starts. That is the worst time in my opinion. Once you have a good layer of snow on the road, it compresses under your tire and gets up in your treads, which gives you some traction. When there's just a super thin layer, there's nothing for the tire to grab onto and grip is awful. Stay home dude!

We've got like 3 or 4 inches in Columbia, and it's probably the first time I've been pissed about snow because my lease ends today and I have nowhere else to stay in Columbia. The closest I've got is my parents in Charlotte, and I don't expect SC to have their roads taken care of. I'm hoping I'll get lucky and maybe my apartment complex will cut me a break and let me stay an extra day.

7" at my house right now (Greenville, SC). Got stuck in my neighborhood on a hill Luckily a neighbor's truck plus 2 random Russian neighbors were able to help me get it back to a spot where I could get traction again haha.
