^^^No, what needs to happen is they need to forget about the stupid heads and make noise. I left every game hoarse, as did most everybody around me when I was a student. Didn't matter if we were down by 20.

I'm not complaining about students getting too many/too few tickets, but the fact that our homecurt advantage is completely nonexistent. I miss the good old days, like when paul hewitt turned around and yelled ” SHUT THE FUCK UP” to the people behind their bench.

I think I know what this is referring to. Probably when Lorenzo got up in the other guy's face that tripped him, and was chest to chest with the FSU player talking shit. The ref (honestly can't remember if it was Hess) put his hand on Brown's chest and separated them. But honestly, I prefer that to giving Brown the technical.

This isn't a shock at all. The team spent five days preparing for Duke and gave up a 20 point lead to lose a nail biter. Then they have a 48 hour turn around to play FSU. Of course we came out flat. Let's just hope for a good showing at UNC to keep us on the bubble.

I don't want to disparage Vandenberg, so I won't post the link in this thread. But I was searching for the etymology of him choosing "The Landlord" as his nickname, to see if there's an article or something, and I came across a nomination for him being the dumbest player, submitted by a classmate last year.

I hated this game so much. Felt like the Maryland football game two years ago where we needed to win to go to the ACC championship game.

Worst part is, it doesn't surprise me at all that we came out and laid a fucking egg today, like most fanbases would feel. Being a State fan really is like torturing yourself. One day I hope all of this heartache and constant disappointment will pay off and we can be on the other side of the coin for a change. Maybe it'll be next season - sigh - didnt I say that last year?
