^whoever Williamson has been injured basically the whole year. Even getting an inning from him may end up being huge for our bullpen

couple bad breaks there between the double play and then letting leadoff guy reach on wild pitch

yes, so it's possible (and has happened) where a pitcher has struck out 4 batters in a single inning

speaking of strikeouts, Gilbert was just robbed of one

^^Yeah but we have EVERY pitcher that we could possibly hope for after today's basic complete game by Gilbert. Gilbert may be our best go to pitcher. Glad to see him go so long today.

Now we have a decent stock in the bullpen that no matter if a starter goes rough we have plenty to stop any bleeding.

the BEST news is that they got to see runs scored on CC. That's key. Knowing you CAN outhit them.
