^ With the way basketball is going, most definitely not. Of course I'm sure football will flop now that we're expected to be good.

@thebody, yea what @tower said. last year if they said a north carolina recruit had us among his favorites 1) it was rare, and 2) it was almost a lie/stretch of truth to have some positive something about recruiting. We went months with 2 recruits in the fold. 2/9/2011 9:21:42 AM |

^^32 I think. People at work were bustin a nut and talking about USC winning the national championship next year- I would say that's a big stretch but who the hell knows 2/15/2011 12:41:15 AM |

^ USC should be very good next year with their great WR core and Lattimore to go along with a strong defense. The SEC East will be a toss up again, but Spurrier has seemingly finally turned the corner at South Carolina. The BCS champion will probably still come out of the SEC West again. 2/15/2011 9:15:03 AM |

Sounds like USC probably won't have Clowney next year after all. Looks like he should have spent less time dragging out his recruitment and more time in the classroom. Most, including his coaches, believe he will not qualify. 2/16/2011 7:57:41 AM |

athletically gifted for sure, he'll be a great asset at any position

from WRAL
Quote : | "Middle Creek quarterback Garrett Leatham will play college football at the next level.
According to Sean Crocker, the head football coach at Middle Creek High School, Leatham has accepted an invitation to walk-on at NC State.
Crocker confirmed Leatham's intentions through a text message to HighSchoolOT.com on Monday evening. Leatham could not be immediately reached.
This past season, Leatham helped lead the Mustangs to a 9-3 overall record, including a 6-2 mark in the Tri-Nine 4-A Conference. During his senior campaign, Leatham recorded nearly 3,400 passing yards in 12 games.
Leatham stands at 6-foot-5 and 220-pounds.
Crocker said he is not sure if Leatham will redshirt his freshman year at NC State, but said Leatham is planning to report to camp this fall.
Harnett Central quarterback Brian Taylor has already signed with NC State." |
