^ With the way basketball is going, most definitely not. Of course I'm sure football will flop now that we're expected to be good.

@thebody, yea what @tower said. last year if they said a north carolina recruit had us among his favorites 1) it was rare, and 2) it was almost a lie/stretch of truth to have some positive something about recruiting. We went months with 2 recruits in the fold.

doesn't this give them something like 45 recruits for this class... this may affect the layouts of the South Carolina budget with this class.

^^32 I think. People at work were bustin a nut and talking about USC winning the national championship next year- I would say that's a big stretch but who the hell knows

^ USC should be very good next year with their great WR core and Lattimore to go along with a strong defense. The SEC East will be a toss up again, but Spurrier has seemingly finally turned the corner at South Carolina. The BCS champion will probably still come out of the SEC West again.

Sounds like USC probably won't have Clowney next year after all. Looks like he should have spent less time dragging out his recruitment and more time in the classroom. Most, including his coaches, believe he will not qualify.

Dominic Scavo, QB

I'm friends with one this kid's coaches and he said he's in the triangle visiting NCSU and Duke and that once UNCCHeat found out, they invited him too... He's been invited to Elite 11

we lost out on 4* DT J.J. Patterson to UNC

John Blake is still managing to land highly-touted recruits despite not being employed by UNC

Whatever. We'll get Hooker anyways, which is fine by me. I mean the dude's name is K'Hadree! How badass is it to have an apostrophe in one's name?

James Summers sounds like the name of a fictional character based on Philip Rivers in some beach-read novel.

^^ good news! Rivals is also confirming officially

I wonder if they plan on using him in another capacity. 6'2"/196 isn't the typical Ryan/Glennon QB that Bible likes. I guess the same can be said for Taylor, who's only 6'3".

He also had an offer from Clemson supposedly.

I guess IC'ers arent going to be able to poo-poo his lack of stars since UNCCheat had offered as well.

Welcome to NCSU James

Lol at the insidecarolina watermark. His throwing will need some work if they keep him at QB, lot of those passes were in position to be intercepted

i'm impressed by his agility...he has great speed, but when guys get close and throw an arm at his legs/feet he just does that high step and keeps on moving

athletically gifted for sure, he'll be a great asset at any position

really impressed. throwing was pretty decent, he made some tough throws.

call me crazy, but he looks like he'd be a good RB as well, not that we really need any but he's really tough to get down.

Maybe we're gonna install a "wildwolf" pkg.

That video reminds me of our defense two years ago.

No pressure, no tackling.

College football teams aren't like that.

He plays for Page, which isn't terrible, but the competition isn't Texas 5A level for sure

from WRAL

Quote :
"Middle Creek quarterback Garrett Leatham will play college football at the next level.

According to Sean Crocker, the head football coach at Middle Creek High School, Leatham has accepted an invitation to walk-on at NC State.

Crocker confirmed Leatham's intentions through a text message to HighSchoolOT.com on Monday evening. Leatham could not be immediately reached.

This past season, Leatham helped lead the Mustangs to a 9-3 overall record, including a 6-2 mark in the Tri-Nine 4-A Conference. During his senior campaign, Leatham recorded nearly 3,400 passing yards in 12 games.

Leatham stands at 6-foot-5 and 220-pounds.

Crocker said he is not sure if Leatham will redshirt his freshman year at NC State, but said Leatham is planning to report to camp this fall.

Harnett Central quarterback Brian Taylor has already signed with NC State."
