AHA, three posts about it since mine, and people can't even say his name.

I'm not saying I want Golenbock to apologize or something. But I would like a fair recounting of the events in the News and Observer with names named. And I want somebody to admit that it was so easy to treat him horribly because he was Italian. Also, it would make my day if somebody in our school's administration would say they care about athletics.

I'm not trying to point to this one moment in the past and say that's why we've struggled. But we were so humiliated by the situation that we essentially put ourselves in timeout. And then he died and people felt even more guilty so nobody could even talk about it. But we're still in timeout, and we can't get free until we own up to what we did.
