I'm hearing good things about DiorShow Extase for plumping, so I think I might give that a shot. Go, go $15 off Sephora coupon!

I hated zoom lash so bad i returned it and i use exclusivly mac or nars stuff. Bobby brown mascara... jesus, if that stuff wasn't $27 or something. Drug store mascara I would score a 7.5 out of 10 and for 1/3 or so of the price im happy with it

^^yes.

seriously dior rocks my world with mascara

^yeah with macs stuff you need a separate brush to rid the clumps and add definition, but when you do that it's awesome. i have several of those too.

youd be amazed how well that works too.
even with the mascara you aredy think is perfect

As far as makeup goes, for the most part I use Neutrogena mineral sheers and powder foundation. I also use the concealer by them.

But for my lashes, I use Lorac Visual Effects. I love it!! I like that I can clean the plastic brush and therefore get more use of one tube. I have long eyelashes that do not curl so this is my favorite product bc it makes my eyes look even bigger!! I just wish they had black brown. I use the black.

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P202630&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=4144

I don't wear a lot of makeup. I am not into it that much. I wish I liked it bc it looks like it could be fun. I just don't like the up keep of the constant reapply and how it feels on my face and around my eyes. A full make-over does not happen a lot with me.

thanks to my aunt, I own a lot of really nice makeup

but the only thing I wear is mascara... if I want to dress up, then I wear blush

very rarely will I actually use anything else, but when I do - I have a mega arsenal to choose from

You should see how many I have at home. Since being laid off, I figured I should try the drug store route and I can't wait to get a job so my eyelashes can come back to life lol.

I have enjoyed that Maybeline Lash Stiletto though! I tried the Covergirl Collosal for lengthening this weekend and I hate it. It smells funny and it's a very dry formula.

I'm a sucker for Chanel's Inimitable

^^ I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I asked my friend who recommended it to me and she said she'd never really noticed a smell. Drives me nuts.

I don't think Colossal smells like chocolate or roses. But it is RIDICULOUSLY difficult to remove.

It doesn't smell like roses at all. I was gagging this morning when I was putting it on. I'm mad I spent money on it. I only bought it because they didn't have the "Blackest Black" for the Stiletto.

I don't think it smells like those either. It's kind of a plasticky gross smell. I like the mascara though.

I have long eye lashes but this doesn't make them seem long until I get like a profile view. I could see my lashes were long using the stiletto when I looked head-on (APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD)

ive heard that maybelline's full n soft (an oldie but goodie) is very similar formula wise to dior show

ive used the maybelline.....pretty good results not much clumping

as far as blush, i have nars orgasm....its not bad, but i also use benefits posey tint, my go-to blush is one of tart's cheek stains.

followed by this:

(Mac Mascara X)

= incredible combination. Goes on so smoothly and flawlessly, has a great scent, and looks very natural.

Speaking of Urban Decay eyeshadows, I'm glad you recommend them because I just ordered a set from Sephora. Like tartsquid I had the $15 off coupon so I ordered these things this morning:

Urban Decay Get Baked Eye Kit:
This is a good deal now because it's on sale for $18.

Sephora by OPI nail colours:
Metro Chic (greyish, purplish)
along with this shade called It's Somewhere in My Purse (berry milk chocolate)

After the coupon all of this ends up being 20 bucks plus tax. Next time I get a coupon I'll pass it on to one of you ladies because I need to go on a makeup ban.

Has anyone actually used homemade laundry detergent in their front loader?

I used to be a Maybelline girl (clear) until I came home from work one day with allergies and woke up from my Benadryl nap with a stye. ;_; Now I use Bare Escentuals flawless definition:

I used to not wear makeup at work but people were so much nicer to me when I looked more polished. (Or a horrible coincidence. The makeup stays.)

Hmmmm I like the brush on that MAC plump lash. I'm huge on the brushes. Usually I don't like those new silicone brushes, but it works with the Chanel. I hate it with that Lash Blast shit I bought.

On another note...I like my bolero, but I now want something more edgy to wear with the dress..Like a cropped black tuxedo jacket. DAMNIT

JOIE...I was looking at this blog and saw your name under the pic of outfits and was like OMG JOIE WRITES FOR THIS? But then I realized your name is also a clothing line http://ow.ly/Moqi

Light foundation / tinted moisturizer recommendations? I don't get acne anymore and I don't need a lot of coverage - I just want something to even things out without looking thick or cakey. I don't really like powder/mineral foundations, I used to use them and I feel like they're chalky.

Does anyone have a brand they like? Preferably something that comes in an almost white pale shade. Most drugstore brands' lightest shades are a little too dark for me, my MAC color is NC15 and even that's sliiiiightly too dark.

What I posted a while ago, Everyday Minerals. Did you give them a shot? It's $3.95 for a sampler package, and they're pretty damn good - I finally exhausted mine and am going to order more after xmas

I know it's powder, but I think this might work for you.
