FYI, if playing Tiger Woods golf and you get a lucky bounce, do not use the replay feature

I was playing a par 3, failed to notice the hole was about 20 ft down, and so I was about to severely overshoot the green. It nails the flag, and drops to within 2 feet of the pin. I was shocked, and wanted to see the replay just to see how ridiculous that was. I hit the replay button, my character swings, and the ball misses the flag pole and shoots over the green, into the out of bounds area. I hit replay again to make sure it wasn't a fluke, and every shot afterwards sent it into out of bounds. I figure since it's just a replay it's no big deal, so I hit A to get to my next shot, and oh look, I'm back on the tee taking my 3rd shot.

So, apparently replay isn't a replay, but it takes your shot again. If you get a different lie this time, oh well, you have to take where your replay ball lands. gay.

Contra: Rebirth came out in Japan today for WiiWare, so I guess it'll come over here sometime. Japan and Europe have had Majora's Mask for awhile now.

i haven't hooked my wii up since we took it to a convention, which was back in february. i've play the ps3 a ton lately. the wii just hasn't been as interesting lately. i've thought a couple of times about selling it b/c i could use the $, but i know as soon as i do some game will come out only on wii that i'd have to have.

I've preordered the Tiger/Motion Plus bundle...I am more excited for it than anything for the Wii in a while...I also am pretty excited for Disc Golf on the Tiger game, I have thought that game would translate perfectly onto the Wii for a while

Played some of Mad World yesterday up until the first 'boss' encounter. I don't think I will play it ever again. Graphics look interesting though.

Super Paper Mario, however, might get some work put in on it tonight. Also I've never played any of the 'lego' games but Lego Batman is pretty funny.

it was just mindless chainsaw-ridiculous-murder-combo type stuff over and over. You could do some interesting things like stuff a dude in a trash can and then impale him with a sign post and then repeatedly slam their body on an iron maiden, and then do it all over again for the next guy. You get points for killing people in ridiculous methods. Just not something I could see myself playing for that long.

I didn't even realize what the game was before I started playing, I just saw a screen and thought the graphics looked cool. I was actually really surprised it was on Wii.

excitebot racing seems pretty lame, although I have only tried steering with the wiimote, not sure if it accepts a nunchuck as well. it could be much better if I had better control over steering.

punch out is pretty fun multiplayer but gets old a little quick.

deadly creatures also seems like it could be fun if I spend more time playing.

klonoa is OK, not sure why everyone was all boners about it on the reviews I read.

No More Heroes is pretty good. Not great. If you didn't like Mad World (which I thought was worth for the announcers alone), you won't like it.

spot on, No More Heroes did not hold my attention.

Mercury Meltdown is sort of fun, and Deadly Creatures is crazy good, I will be playing more of that. Along with Super Paper Mario. I've never played paper mario so it's like whoa for me right now.

Yeah I've always been a nintendo man (I own all of their consoles), but I finally had to break down and buy a PS3 in addition to my Wii. I felt like I was missing out on a lot of the "mature" genre games. Plus it is my bluray player.

My gf's got a Wii and I am buying that 2d Mario game the second it's available, looked like a lot of fun. She's also getting a wii fit for her birthday and enjoys it for the "party" aspect rather than the actual gaming ability vs. a PS3 or XBox
