But having said that, anytime someone stops testing nuclear weapons is a good time. So unless and until evidence to the contrary emerges, I will give props to him on this one.

I’m not sure trump has any relevance to the North Korea situation

South Korea just elected a president who’s major campaign point was reunification, and they’ve been the ones driving the negotiations with North Korea— and North Korea hasn’t actually agreed to anything yet

Do you have any more information on what trump has been doing in this situation?

If there’s one thing trump does get 100% credit for I’d think it was empowering Bin Salman in Saudi Arabia

I don’t see a Clinton administration helping shift the status quo so much. But I don’t think trump had any bearing for activities in North Korea.

Valid points. I think there's a lot to be said about public posturing, though and in that respect, he definitely postured in a tough manner. He did so in a dramatically different fashion than any previous president so there's a correlation there. Doesn't mean causation but it's something to consider when all of this is done for the after action analysis.
