I've done a vet internship in high school & came to state in animal sci.

I graduated with a philosophy major who spent a lot of time studying ancient history.

I just started working full time at a vet clinic as a receptionist.

I believe I was the only one at the clinic who recognized a dog named Enkidu was named from the Gilgamesh Epic.

I wonder if there is anyway to reconcile these. I mean I have more practical experience with vet stuff, but I feel much more accomplished academically with ancient history & philosophy.
