Was in the harris teeter earlier and there was a teenage girl, probably 15 or 16, in the rice and pasta aisle. She was absolutely stunning, the type of girl you strive for, a true destination lay. I had no idea how to make the first move. She was obviously still in high school whereas I'm several years out of college. I couldn't just let her walk out of my life without doing something, anything, to plant some kind of seed for a future rendevous (pun somewhat intended). I racked my brain for the best ice breaking line for someone 10 years my junior, but nothing came to me. So as she started to walk away, I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind.

"Hey, you're really pretty"


She looked at me like I was the spitting image of the You're Gonna Get Raped guy, and a look of sheer horror came to her face. I stammered, and tried to say something else, but she stormed off. I was quite embarrassed, and with much remorse did I go to the checkout line with my blue moon and rotissirie chicken. I had blown a golden opportunity.

It is tough when the tourney is on, though... I like to sit and be able to switch between the four games. I'll definitely do it in the future... heck, we can have it here one night too. I have a nice felt poker table and everything.
