a few years ago, i worked with this chick that i started to dig. unfortunately, i was put in a bad position and she ended up getting fired. it didn't bother me too much because she had a loser boyfriend who she fucked on subway trains. but before she and her bf got back together, i was totally diggin her. she really liked edie brickell. So, in the midst of getting ready to study, i put all mp3's in winamp, and hit "shuffle." of course, edie brickell starts to play, and I remember that girl. She quit school after she got fired.

I could have stopped it all and saved her ass, but I didn't...not because telling the truth was that important... but because I felt resentment towards the loser she was with, and didn't wanna be around her anymore. So telling the truth got her outta my life. Never saw her after that, but I remember her crying as she left and not wanting to talk to any of us.

Young and stupid. What a shitty memory from such a shitty song.
