I just recently figured out I can stream my music from my laptop to my 360 since they're on wireless.

However, many of my songs are listed as 'incompatible'. Most, if not all, of them are .mp3 . Some of the ones it says it can't play came from a new CD, GnR Chinese Democracy (that I own and burned).

Anyone else have that kind of trouble?

I've never run into that problem and I use my XBox to listen to music on a fairly regular basis.

Just found something about the MtG game that bugs me. I don't know if it's just in challenge or it's in the whole game, but you aren't allowed to choose which mana to tap.

For example, if a spell costs GG3, and you have 4 G and 4 R, if you want to keep 2 green mana open for another spell, the computer may decide to tap all 4 green and 1 red. No way to change it as far as I can tell.

So I'm working on the last challenge, and I have a method I want to try, but it's tapping the wrong mana. Apparently that means my solution is wrong, but I still think that's a major problem when you get into late game and a multi-colored deck

Man, playing this really makes me want to get back into the game

I said the same thing about the mana stuff when I got the full game.. oh well. You should be able to complete the challenge regardless of the mana it chooses, so yeah: YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!

there aren't any servers to play on.

This is basically a BFBC expansion pack. Instead of the sniper's missle thing you get an air raid. Everything else is the same more or less.

i thought about buying it. i love these types of games, but i didnt get Bad Company.

this may only have a few maps, but it is great for people like me cuz i can just drop 15 bucks instead of a full 60 and still get lots of multiplayer enjoyment. i imagine it'll be around for a bit.

magic is actually pretty fun. i was concerned about a few things i heard, but (asside from only having 2 decks to start) it is pretty fun.

the interface takes a bit to get used to, but it works overall. it always sucks missing the opportunity to play an instant during combat because of the timer. likewise a few times i didnt have enough time to block all attackers causing me to take more damage, but i'll live.

I have had 2 epic games of both myself and the guy on xbox live having the green creature deck. We both had about 30-40 creatures in play - then whomever attacks first basically wins bc there is no time to assign all the blockers and the screen is too cluttered.

Fun as shit though

^ You can't hit "X" to pause the timer?

I really enjoy playing it, and it's given me the Magic bug again. *Nerd Alert*

I do hate that you really can't customize the decks at all, and the AI makes some interesting choices sometimes. I always find it humorous how it will completely broadcast a giant growth, so I've yet to be surprised by one. I've also had a weird bug where when I'm playing against a deck that has a regenerative creature on the board, and I am able to do game ending damage to the opponent (unblockable either by flying, or ___walk), the AI will use it's remaining mana to constantly regenerate the creature that actually was never able to block at all. A drudge skeleton regenerated 8 times after the opponent died from a 7/7 Serra Angel attack. Oh well, still fun.

^^ One thing that bugs me about the timer is when it allows for instants to be cast when they are not allowed. For example, I've seen a bug where summoning a Voice of All (2/2, protection for color of choice determined instantly) had the timer delay, in which it was hit with a shock for 2 damage and killed before you can give it protection from red.

Even when you hit X, there is a blocking timer that comes into play (maybe only with multiple blockers available?)

[Edited on July 10, 2009 at 2:27 PM. Reason : and yes, I've seen the computer do any action available when they are about to lose.. haha]

yeah theres still a timer. sometimes you can get it to pause for a bit, but ultimately you can only block so much. needs to be fixed.

i had a computer cast shock on a 0/3 wall before the end of his turn (in the middle of a game). i still havent figured that one out.

seriously?

the limit of what I was going to spend was to purchase some of the "1000 MTG card" blocks on ebay just to get enough common/uncommon cards to put together decks again to play. I don't really care about finding the ultra rare cards anymore that require 60 booster packs to find.

I didn't buy any boosters, just single cards off sites like cardhoarder.com

Started off spending 20, wasn't winning, and pumped 50-60 more into it to make it competitive

Then I got bored of that deck and pieced together about 3 more at similar prices

Between that and worms, its like 7th grade all over again, minus the nocturnal emissions

so after about 3.5 years, my box finally RROD'ed. i was playing this evening, about 7:30 when it happened. went to xbox.com, it said to turn off for 10 sec, and try again. that worked fine, until about 20 mins later, when it RROD'ed again. i tried turning it off for 10-15 sec several times, but it would RROD every time it booted up.

so about 15 min ago i went to xbox.com to fill out the repair form. not sure why i tried to turn it on again, but i did (i think to remove the disc in it), and when i turned it on (several times), it never RROD'ed. so, now i'm not sure what to do. i imagine if i play again, it will go down much like it did the second time i played tonight (die about 20 min. in). i kinda wish it would just die (or not, lol), then i wouldn't feel so divided on whether or not to send it in.

was everyone else's RROD sudden and permanent, or is it like mine - not able to make up its mind.

(and i'm pretty sure it is the real 3 quadrant red ring, i think. i lay my box down on its side, but if i were to turn it vertical, it would have been the upper right, upper left, and lower left... on its side, it was upper left, lower left, lower right)

for many months leading up to when mine did it, i would sometimes have to turn it on, then off, then on to get it to run

i figured there was some problem with the TV getting the signal, but after i got the repaired one back it has always come on on the first power-on

yeah i was thinking there was a possibility they wouldn't do any repairs if it checked out OK at MS.

which is just my luck, same thing happens at the mechanic, the problem goes away when i take my truck there.

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/13/bioshock-2-delayed-to-fiscal-2010/
BioShock 2 delayed to 'first half' of 2010 [update]

by Andrew Yoon { 6 hours ago } Breaking News Xbox PlayStation

In a move that's not all too surprising, Take-Two has announced that BioShock 2 has been delayed until fiscal 2010. The game, which was originally scheduled for an early November release, is being delayed to "provide additional development time for the title." While Take-Two's next fiscal year begins in November, the lack of a specific timeframe for release suggests this delay will be quite significant. Update: Take-Two clarified at its press conference that BioShock 2 is now planned for release in the "first half" of 2010.

Perhaps the late addition of yet another developer to BioShock 2 should have acted as an early indicator of the delay. Take-Two's Chairman Strauss Zelnick publicly apologized about the setback in a press release: "We recognize that our revised outlook for the balance of fiscal year 2009, due to both internal and external factors, is a disappointment. That said, we concluded that moving the release of BioShock 2 into fiscal year 2010 was the right decision for the product."

Take-Two's investors are unlikely to respond to this news positively, considering the company's sparse presence this holiday season. With Take-Two's most anticipated titles -- Mafia II, Max Payne 3 and now BioShock 2 -- all appearing in fiscal 2010, the company will have little to rely on to bolster its current year results. Zelnick reiterated that "we remain confident in the long term potential for Take-Two's business, and our ability to capitalize on that potential through our exceptional creative talent and solid balance sheet."
