Trying to rationalize his actions is ridiculous. Brad himself slept with one of Nancy's "friends", there is no evidence to suggest Nancy slept with anywhere near 9 other guys while they were married, it probably takes at least $300 a week to raise to snotty kids in a Cary upper middle class society, spouses sometimes buy things for one another, and none of the rest of that make any sense.
