i wore brown!

cream tights freak me out a little

today i also bought a kids size 12 splendid (littles) dress from the store i work at to wear as a tunic top. the sleeves and neck actually weren't too small (as they usually are with kids clothes) and it makes my boobs look bigger than they actually are since it is made for people with no boobs. if i was like 10lbs lighter i could pull it off as a dress but for now i gotta stick with leggings and jeans under it.

tiny pic, but this is it:

i feel kind of like a creep but whatev. i like it. and it was only $25.

attn: big-headed (macrocrania not self absorbed) girls: where do you get your headbands? They only make headbands for little kids and they hurt my big head.

when I get a new headband, I'll attach it to something slightly larger than my head and let it hang out for a few days so it stretches out.

or I'll wear a bandanna underneath the headband to stretch it out and help with the pain.

my aunt used to work for chanel and also did some makeup artistry stuff. I learned from her and she also gives me A LOT of chanel and other high end products, so I currently have a mega arsenal of makeup.

too bad I work at a gym and rarely wear makeup

and when I do, it's usually only mascara + blush

The ladies at the MAC counter can be a big help with application tips, if they aren't too busy.

my sister is super into art so I watched her and learned (and it helped that I did art, too)

I like make-up because it's fun... reminds me of painting I hate it when make-up looks tacky and caked on though..

Oh and my aunt does make-up for photo shoots and M.A.C.

Once upon a time, there was a Shiseido studio in NYC that would give you free makeup lessons. I went once with my mom and had a grand old time but didn't really pay attention to what the woman was showing me. Should have been a better student

ok i took a picture with photobooth but i am making a fish face because i have the WORST FAKE SMILE EVER and everyone calls me out on it HERE and IRL so...i made a fish face instead because i have a pretty bad ass fish face i am getting used to it. it is a little shorter in the back. SHE had me rocking the middle part (like gwyneth paltrow) which is ok but, middle parts just take me back to a heinous time in my life, so i'm keeping the side part:

(I WISH I COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT COLORED TOO, but i'm poor so...boo on that. i want it to be darker. i like darker almost black hair)

thanks. i'm hoping when iiiiii fix it it will be more edgy (not more edgy like stylish, but like...not turned under as much! she like curled it under with a brush and that isn't really my thang)

if i could have gotten it colored i would have done one of these i think (not cuts, but color). maybe after i save some more bling i can go back for that

i LOVE the second color but because i probably need to stay on the conservative side, i'd prob go with the first...unless it looks too emo. i dunno sometimes you can go wrong with black hair.

that is actually the cut i wanted, too. mine is similar but she said razor edged cuts aren't as good for round faced people cause it makes your face look more round. so i have not as edgy of a cut. but i still like it!

and i really, really want to dye my hair like that too haha. i think i might. after the new year!

and I mean, they were originally $80 and I got them for $30 so I am happy with my purchase

I think I might get the flats at a later time.. I need to save money for my earring this month

i finally have my whole outfit ready for tonight - just in time!

but it's in a plum color...http://www.anntaylorloft.com/p-22659.shtml
wearing opaque black stockings. I have a huge black cuff bracelet, a big ring that looks similar to the cuff and drop earrings from Loft that match (black and purple) the dress.

Now I just have to figure out which shoes to wear:
-Purple bow patent leather
-Black suede pointy toe
-Black satin peep toe

I have a couple pairs of Bakers and they're really good quality, and comfortable despite being a 4.5'' heel. Go for it.

I have these in a multicolor:

I'm old fashioned too and I say NO WAY. Your toes shouldn't show when you're wearing stockings, that's just tacky. Yeah you could probably get away with it now, but I personally would never do it, especially when you obviously have other options that would be just as cute.
