Rusko just killed it... opened up with a dubbed out mix of Petey Pablo "Raise Up" and then just went hard for about an hour with some really heavy dubstep

Major Lazer light/stage show just brought it to another level

don't know what happened, but there was an ambulance and fire truck outside of Cat's Cradle after the show

we need more dubstep shows/DJs around here

We definitely do. I kinda know a guy who spins Monday nights at The Big Easy, and he says he spins dubstep some nights, but we need more.

i've been to Big Easy on Monday nights, I usually just hear DnB though. i guess that has potential, but there are never more than 10-15 people in the entire bar on those nights

i might be djing some nights at the new Kings when it opens, maybe i can curate a dubstep night

As funny as some of the jokes about how women should get back into the kitchen are (sometimes) I find it sad that some people I know really do feel that way. I was talking to one guy and he outright said that the only reason women should go to college is if they want to marry a man that has an education.

You know, I'm okay with the "traditional" household roles as long as their is equality in the relationship. As long as I make the choice to be a stay at home mom because that is the best way to raise children. However, if I am ever told that I have to be the one that stays home because I am a woman, or I have to be the one that does all the household chores because I am the woman, or etc I have a problem with that.

I've been feeling kind of meh too lately. I hope it's just allergies and not impending sickness. I always sorta forget about allergies and think I'm getting sick.

Also, I feel weird when the window washer guy walks up and starts squeegeeing my window because I don't want to just pretend he's not there but I don't want to turn and stare at him or something either.

Hah, my boss is currently at his desk wearing one of those masks that doctors use. Yesterday he spent the afternoon coughing while typing emails (and not covering his mouth) so I'm guessing someone complained and gave him a mask. He says it's allergies, so that's why I'm thinking my scratchy throat and cough are allergies.

And it doesn't help that the most solid thing I've eaten in the last 3 days is one of those frozen Green Giant broccoli with cheese sauce pouches last night.
