sometimes i'm glad that mine and my husband's families don't get together to celebrate these kinds of things

then i think of the awesomeness of his grandma's homemade sourdough bread and strawberry jam, a honey baked ham and good conversation around a dinner table, and i get sorta sad.....

They're made with sugar, flour, shortening, eggs, orange juice/peel, and some other things, iced over with confectioner's sugar/butter. I don't have the recipe handy, but I'll send it your way later if you want it.

tww is so much more upbeat and lively when we do the egg hunt, we should do it (or something similar to it) a few times a year. Maybe make a snowflake engine around christmas, etc. etc.

and in my own personal opinion, it would be better if we had the hunt on a day when people might be working, from thursday at noon til friday at noon or something like that, so it helps pass the day by for us working folk

when i just went i had like SEVERAL vitamin deficiencies (iron, vit d mostly)

they were severe and now that i am taking supplements i actually feel a lot better. not 100% better but MUCH improved. like...i can actually get through the day now!
