I never had nightmares about school work except the odd handful where you show up at school in your underwear (why's it always gotta be tighty whities?).

My nightmares revolve around people being killed by my projects at work (or by projects I am loosely associated with). I'm trying to accomplish a career move back to Raleigh because I can't stand working at a place where people with an IQ of 80 are allowed to keep working even after they put people's lives in danger by misusing equipment/being irresponsible/just not giving a fuck. The stress of that fact, and other facts about my place of employment, have lead to me having all kinds of mental problems as of late.

It sucks, I hate it, I wish I stayed here for a few more months and tried to land that structural engineering job with the communications tower company that was going to start hiring (and pay me a reasonably decent salary for what my education/experience was, especially considering the hiring circumstances). I get paid too much to do what I do and I've been in dangerous situations numerous times and nearly was killed once. I should actually start actively applying to jobs back in Raleigh, come to think of it... I'm going to start doing that now, actually.

i am babysitting a good friend's dog this weekend because her mom told her that she wouldn't watch him anymore because he was "too needy" and "annoying"

and i was like wtf, that is mean of your mom i'll watch him

and now he is starting to get on my nerves. i feel bad but jesus. stop whining when you can't sit in my lap. i took you out, fed you, cuddled with you i don't know what else you want from me!!! i don't want a dog on my lap all damn day.
