That's what I'm saying. When it takes six weeks to get any movement on travel plans related to training you have to take, and even then it's all still fucked up and you still have two dozen forms to fill out for your upcoming trips, just... How does an organization get that broken? I want out. In the private industry I wrote down my miles, attached receipts for my expenses, totaled up what I wanted and they cut me a fucking check with no further questions. If I was suspected of doing something illegal/unethical I would just be fired, whereas here people do stuff all day and nobody gives a shit.

I apply every day to a job that's not where I am working now. Preferably back into private industry. I was told the other day that they are bringing in the two new supervisors at a higher salary than I am making in order to "Create an inequity" so that my pay will be eventually raised.. . In all actuality that may not even happen until AT LEAST a year from now as they haven't even posted the positions. The Directory was demoted, the piss-poor Manager's position was RIF'd, and the equally piss-poor Assistant Manager just up and walked out one day because she couldn't get into her office. (Yes really.) So I am the only supervisor left with all of the responsibilities of the manager and assistant manager dumped on me to figure out for the last 6 to 8 mos without receiving a dime of compensation or any assistance from anyone else.
