Man, I felt like such a complete dick today. I was walking down the hall coming back from a meeting.... and ahead, standing on either side of the hallway, were two people signing to each other.... obviously in a heated conversation.

I walked RIGHT in between them. But I didn't have a choice!

Still.... me walking in between them basically interrupted their conversation for a split second, as they are not capable of seeing THROUGH me.

Be ready to get stereotyped if you sound the least bit southern. For some reason southern = retarded and not exposed to the world to a number of people up north. I encountered a lot of problems with this kind of shit when I was up there, so the last time when I drove to Quebec I tried to get the fuck through the Northern US without stopping much. I stayed in DC for the night, got up and drove until I finally stopped near the Canadian border for the night. From then on I was in crazy French Canadian world.

She said she is driving up through the northern states and happens to be in NJ right now. That isn't even the destination from my understanding, just a point along the way. Again, I never even mentioned New Jersey. I've had nasty experiences in many of the northeastern states.
