Why is the federal government filled with such idiots? Why do I have to work with people who are certifiably insane? Why can't some of my coworkers just do their job and make my life easier? Why can't people keep three handfuls of details straight in their heads so that I don't have to repeat myself every phone call about how I've been planning and researching this project for three months and fuck you, you are going to meet my requirements? Why is the crazy asshole trying to put his project burden on me and distorting the questions I asked him months ago to make it seem like I was handling his project all along? Why isn't this asshole's supervisor doing anything about it when he sits right next to my cubicle and has heard every single conversation this dumbass has had with me?

People's advice on dealing with matters are also completely and utterly retarded. Oh, you're not a supervisor, you shouldn't worry about stuff like that (EVEN THOUGH THESE ITEMS POSE A HUGE THREAT TO HUMAN HEALTH AND SAFETY). Nobody asked you to work on that so you shouldn't do it until they tell you it's required (EVEN THOUGH IT'S REQUIRED, AND REALLY GODDAMN SOON, AND MY PROJECT CANNOT EVEN START UNLESS THIS WORK IS COMPLETED FIRST). Don't take work home with you (EASY TO DO WHEN YOU DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT HUMAN LIVES, BUT THIS IS NOT ME).

Just, fuck. I didn't realize that the federal government was completely incapable of employing useful souls.
