haha, yeah dwight smiled too

I think during the bday/skin cancer episode when they are in the break room in front of Ryan and they start talking about the "meeting" to discuss finances, and she says they can have the meeting but no cookie. That was funny as hell.

b/c he was embarrassed to be ordering such a girly complicated drink

remember jim saying "so you've still got that going on?"

well yeah i know that...but i kinda got the idea that maybe ryan was more embarrassed b/c he might actually be starting to like kelly and that's what the smirk was for

OH! and Toby's line, "I think I really like taking money from Michael...I'm gonna chase that feeling."

well she did come to a company casino night as michael's guest. what else could she have thought it was? she could have easily declined and said she would just bring the papers by or something.

and i find it hard to feel sorry for jan. she dissed on michael so hard all the time...

Inviting two single women to casino night was probably the only way for Michael to get two women to actually get interested in him.

He stumbled into their catty nature and won out.

i just watched that scene again and it def wasnt a smirk. MAYBE at the very end his lips may have started to turn up, but that is a big MAYBE. and even if it was, it was probably an accident that the writers thought wouldnt show up or they didnt notice. maybe he was almost laughing.

No, not a death knell. It's not like Pam and Jim are going to be off living happily ever after now..if you'll notice at the end, Pam mouths something (possibly "I can't," or possibly just opens her mouth or says hey) and Jim backs off a little.

just to make sure nobody misunderstood what i was getting at in my last post, if Pam does get married to Roy, her name would be Pam(ela) Anderson.

This is probably the only TV show I can ever remember watching that elicits any kind of complex emotional response from me that's more complicated than "blind rage" (which I frequently get when watching 24). Not only that, but it gets an emotional response and is good enough that I don't worry about whether or not its kind of lame that it did.

The people in the bar where I watched the finale were openly cheering at the end of it.

remember that they are going to air 10 new web-only episodes over the summer before season 3 starts
http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060319-6412.html
I imagine most of these will be filler-type episodes? I can't imagine they would continue on and develop the main story lines on episodes most people won't see.....

what do you mean you "don't see them happening"? It sounds like it's a foregone conclusion. They've filmed them and NBC will put them online during hte summer.
From Jennas TVGuide.com blog
Quote :
"
To help you over the summer hiatus, NBC.com will be posting several Office webisodes. The mini-episodes are all new and revolve around the accounting department and their search for missing money. I'm not sure when they will become available, but I know it is sometime over the summer. I hope that helps! "

the first 2 of 10 mini-webepisodes are up now at
http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/nbc_off_web_101_20060712.shtml#video
they're just 2 minutes long each and focus on the accounting dept. So overall, i guess they might add up to about 1 extra episode, but it's nice to have a little something eveyr week until Season 3 starts. They're also free - for some reason i was thinking they were going to be on iTunes and you'd have to pay for them. this is much better this way.

angela's announcement of them
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=32799810&blogID=143943138
and she includes pics of her and dwight's new baby
