I'm guessing IGN's sites are run like gamespot. He who feeds us the most money gets the best reviews. Its actually pretty funny how anyone would say that, let alone quote that, when the developers themselves said the games look and feel the exact same.

But when you look at the big picture as discussed earlier...Live takes the prize because it is a good advantage to have.

FanatiK, There's a difference in not publicly denouncing one system over the other and making it a point to say that you tried your best to make the games look identical. Rockstar has clearly taken the 2nd path.

^^^uh...no one is arguing that the xbox360 is superior on paper. We all know that under the hood the PS3 wins hands down. Frankly, if Sony would catch up to LIVE! and build a gaming library to match that of the 360...it would clearly have a HUGE advantage to the 360 and I probably won't use my 360 nearly as much. But until that day comes...xbox360 has the clear advantage.

i'm a 'fanboy' of both consoles...which ever one is more fun to play games on thats the one i will use more and support.

(to ElNacho) agreed, and any differences are likely going to come from really splitting hairs.

It does not matter to me whether one is superior to the other b/c I only own a PS3, and I'm not going to buy a 360 simply b/c GTA 4 may/may not have a extra lens flare thrown in.

I think the 360 version IS the one to buy for dual system owners, simply b/c of the DLC. I do not think the point that Live is superior to PSN applies here since (like Burnout Paradise) it is all done in-game. In fact Burnout Paradise has MORE streamlined online on the PS3.

So see, I can support my own console without feeling the need to bash the other. It's just silly.

^you heard wrong. I have both...(we are talking strictly cross platform games). The PS3 version gets shafted with the port. Of course this does not apply to exclusive games. I have yet to see anything on the Xbox360 match GT5 in graphics.
