Bethesda should make an addon that would give 10 more levels, and giving 10 perks but half the normal rate of skill points with about 7 quests and 3 side-quests. It'll never happen.

I mean it's almost too powerful. As long as you have enough HP and AP boosters you can kill any enemy. Just use VATS, switch to pip-boy, recharge AP+HP, use VATS again.

I'm happy with the level cap, it prevents you from being good at everything and forces you to at least somewhat specialize.

Also, the level 20 perks are all so powerful that if they raised the cap they would have to make level 20 perks a one time deal.

VATS is kick ass

1) From a practical standpoint, it's just a billion times better. I was constantly running out of ammo until I went for it.

2) It's pretty darned nice to be able to just initiate the action, then sit back and watch the carnage. The bullet cam is hella fun.

Ok why once i get to the Galaxy News Station do all the Brotherhood turn on me?

-fuck, i think when i used a lunchbox nuke on the big mutant outside Galaxy i accidentally killed someone in the brotherhood so now they're all out to get me, and i can't talk to Three Dog about my dad. My last save point was a ways back.

Is there anyway to restart that? Or make them not kill me? Damn.

Dart gun doesn't do much damage, but it instantly cripples both legs.

they are slow as molasses after that, and can't do the charge attack. You just have to back up and shoot.

You can buy the schematics at Boutique Le Chic in Tenpenny Tower. All it takes is a toy car, paint gun, surgical tubing, and radscorpian venom.

the best use of vats is with a high sneak and a sniper rifle...i can one shot a lot of shit with the rifle when conducting a sneak attack (auto crit and high damage)

i have the light fixture in my place in megaton from the love machine theme or whatever it's called

i've played for 30 hours and just got to rivet city...just been exploring everything in the southern half of the map

for those of you who don't know, when you look at your compass, you'll seel triangles under it at times. ones that are solid indicate locations you can map travel to that you've found. the hollow ones are new locations. quite handy for finding all the little nooks of the world (like the Lovecraft-themed building in the SW)

oh, and flamers destroy ghouls and super mutants

If you want to be able to carry around at least twice the weight, there is a Paladin in the Citadel that will follow you around, and you can equip her with stuff. And she actually shoots and hits and kills. Its also very hard to kill her and after a skirmish all of her health regenerates. Her and Mysterious Stranger really make you feel like you are rolling deep. Btw, I think her name is Paladin Star, I think and she is a black chick.

just got the awesome plasma rifle from the android by saving him. i did both scenarios and liked the gun one better (my intention was going w/ this one anyways).

i also got the scoped .44 revolver and i can one shot a lot of shit with that.
