I met with the PR guy, Sundheim, and some other guy from media relations yesterday - and then just chatted with Brian Tatum. He gave a few other guys my resume, and they are doing more official interviews in August. I'm hoping for doing something in marketing. Well, really anything with them.

I'm so excited for the upcoming season. I think we have the SE crown locked up. Theodore is terrible against the 'Canes and the lightning can't play defense and the Ollie and Mike Smith can't stop 40 shots a game. I think this season will be almost as good as 05-06. I'm predicting a 2nd or 3rd place finish in the East, I hate how the 'Canes are getting zero respect in most sports news outlets. But then again happened in 05-06 so maybe we can get deep in the playoffs and contend for the cup again

its more of a nod to bowman for his hard work. i doubt he'll make the team, and he'll return to junior. then at the end of that season, go play in the AHL. and give it another go in 09

2nd place is a good stretch. Give it some games. You know how we like to blow it in March/April too.

It's gonna be interesting to see the game with Detroit 3 games into the season.
