I'm sure it was a joke but Hansborough is a borderline first rounder so no worries there.

If we lose this game or the Chicago game we can pretty much kiss the playoffs goodbye. We have the tiebreaker with Chi if we win but not with Detroit... we've had so many damn close losses this year that are likely to seal our fate. If we had just had a power forward on the fucking roster to start the season we'd be in the playoffs this year. We were damned by all of Jordan's past mistakes (trading for Mohammed and re-signing Carroll).

We definitely aren't going to be able to upgrade our roster next year given our financial struggles... making the playoffs would go a long way towards being able to keep this roster together for next season.. Not only do we need the revenue the playoffs would generate but it would also bolster next seasons ticket sales.
