with the exception of earlier this season, we've pretty much owned the bucs the last few years...and you still have pretty much the same players on defense...only difference is, we have a running game again

Panthers: 31
Bucs: 20

That's not a bad idea, really. The only difference is that their predictions aren't unlikely (I haven't seen a single one of them declare that the Panthers will not make the playoffs this year), whereas yours are.

People look at all the substantial evidence....1) Garcia hasnt lost to you guys in years 2) Bucs are better against you in Carolina 3) As good as you think your running game is this year, we are only 15 yds per game behind you, except our passing game is about 25 yds better 4) out defense is better 5) the Bucs have only allowed 1 rush td all season 6) Garcia doesnt throw picks, Delhomme loves to 7) Panthers have the least enthusiastic fans Ive ever seen (Fact). Every time I go to a Panthers game, it is so lame and I honestly feel bad for the players. And Im sure it will be the same. Bunch of rednecks. 8) Dunn owns the Panthers 9) We have more veteran leadership (1 def hall of Famer, maybe 2: Brooks and Ronde) 10) TWENTY-SEVEN TO THREEE.... its one to have home field advantage, and usually homefield advantage is giving the homefield team and extra td, but 27-3 is dominance. It was laughable.

we run the ball because we have the lead...you pass the ball to make miracle comebacks against the chiefs...we are clearly the better team, i'm glad you agree

also delhomme hasnt thrown a pick since 4 weeks ago...also garcia has a whopping 8 passing touchdowns on the year...man that is a high powered passing offense...and you give the panthers shit about 4 rushing TDs last week? you've passed for 8 TDs in 12 games, that is horrible

I think I might stop posting about this for the week. THis is a truly PATHETIC showing by you all. I have given numerous reasons why the Panthers will lose, and I havent gotten anything in return. When I was talking on the GB game, their was much more resistance than this and ATL was ALOT more. Seems like the more likely you guys will lose, the less you talk. True Panthers fans you say??? hahahaha. You dont know what that even means. For the GB game, it was "they suck against the run" and against ATL it was "we beat the shit out of them earlier in the year". But when it comes to Tampa, you guys have nothing. I have 10 reasons why the Bucs will beat the Panthers. You guys have 1 which is that we didnt sweep you from 2003-2006. BIG WOOP. This is so pathetic when a fanatical girl who doesnt know much of what she is speaking about is your best defense against me. HAHAHAHA. Id love to see more more Bucs fans in here. We would tear you to pieces.

Reasons the Panthers will Win Monday

The Bucs are 3-3 on the road with 2 of those wins coming against sub-.500 teams, both they were down big early.

The other road win came against the Bears with Griese at the helm that went to OT.

The Panthers average 20 points or more at home and this season when we score 20 points or more we win.

The Bucs receiving corps is inconsistent, none of them scare me.

The Panthers run well at home.

The Receivers play better at home not just Steve Smith

The crowd has been much louder this season. In season's past it was tomblike, its not Seattle mind you but the D feeds off the energy of the crowd.

Also the Bucs are 3-3 in Charlotte thats a toss up does not mean they are better than the Panthers in Charlotte dumbass.

You may have the veteran leadership but its not like our Defense is all rookies and 2nd year players.

Yes you won in Tampa by a large margin congrats, we are playing for redemption

The Panthers win by 3. Late FG by Kasay seals the win.

The Panthers gave up after the blocked punt in Tampa and never was able to shake that play off.

you're right...the Panthers might as well not even show up this week since you (who picked Green Bay to beat the Panthers) have picked the Bucs to win on Monday...its pointless for the Cats to even show up on MNF since you already know they'll lose

Also the past 2 seasons Dunn has averaged one good game and one bad game against the Panthers. He had his good game in Tampa so I would play the averages and not bet that Dunn rushes for over 100 yards against us.

WOW, can I give a shout out to Wolfey. Finally, a knowledgable Panther fan. I am impressed. In the 3 weeks Ive had this thread, this is the very 1st time someone has really challenged me with facts and stats. I like it. Some of these points you made, I have no comeback against such as: Bucs 3-3 road record, this is a substantial fact that I cannot say anything about. Now what I can say is the 2 shit teams we played that we were down early: Det- ya we were down early, but we still crushed them. You guys were down early too, except you were in Charlotte, we were in Detroit. KC- since Thigpen took over, this team has almost beat a few teams such as NYJ, SD, and a decently close game with NO, not to mention they beat Denver earlier. Arrowhead is one of the toughest places to play and they came out with some wildcat offenses that helped get them the early 18 point lead 9which we came back from to win mind you).

Garcia is clearly a better qb than Griese, so if anything, we would have beat the Bears with him as well. The Bucs wr corps is inconsistent??? Dont get inconsistent confused with Garcia spreads the ball around and doesnt rely on 1 wr, like the Panthers do. Ya maybe no one player scares you and thats fine, but I know Garcia scares you (Smith scares me, but Delhomme doesnt). The Bucs are 3-3 against the Panthers in Charlotte, this does not mean the the Bucs are better than them in Charlotte, it means they play better against Carolina in Charlotte than they do against them in Tampa (2-5).

p.s. 27-3 explain that one

Sweet, so you are a seasoned debater. Big deal, lets hear some of it because you havent given anything worth anybody's time yet. Anyone can call someone stupid or say they are retarded. Its something else to bring them down with debate, kinda like I have done with Tree. No one takes him serious anymore in this thread.

A statistic pertaining to this game would be a fact that is numbers-based, and in this case its one that backs up a theory. Ive given you 10 facts and stats why the Bucs will beat the Panthers. So far Ive heard that the Panthers are 6-0 at home (havent played Tampa yet at home so that isnt that big) and Wolfey brought up maybe 1 or 2 legit ones. But thats it. Pathetic, but at least he tried.

I mean ya, but wouldnt you agree that Matty Ice has progressed since the beginning of the season to when you played them the 2nd time. Our teams are pretty much the same. We dont have a young player playing the most important position on the field. Ryan didnt throw for over 200 yds once in his 1st 5 games, since then, he hasnt thrown for under 200. So Panthers-Falcons is a little different than Bucs-Panthers.

And this gets me thinking, Jake Delhomme is now officially the worst qb in the South, and what little credit he does get, its mostly due to Smith.
Heres how I rate the South position by position: QB: Brees, Garcia, Ryan (will eventually be #1), Joke Delhomme RB: Turner, Graham, DeAngelo, Dunn, Bush, Stewart, Caddy, Norwood, Pierre
WR: Steve Smith, Roddy, Bryant, Colston, Galloway, Moore, Muhammad, Jenkins TE: Shockey, J. Stevens, Rosario K: Elam, Bryant, Kasay, Hartley Top 10 Def Players: Abraham, Ruud, Peppers, Buchanon, Brooks, Beason, Brooking, Vilma, Milloy, J Phillips Def: TB, ATL, Car, NO

is that why when smith broke his leg a few years ago the panthers only missed the playoffs by one game, but when jake went out last year we had one of the worst offenses in the nfl, even with smith healthy?

and what are yall gonna do when peppers knocks garcia the fuck out with a late hit?

SI Power Rankings for this week

funny quote on the Panthers' paragraph:
Quote :
"Carolina Panthers (9-3)
It's a big-game week in Charlotte, but I still can't get over what Panthers second-year running back DeAngelo Williams told me Sunday at Lambeau. After scoring four times on 1-yard touchdown runs, Williams said he got chills playing on the frozen tundra (which stands to reason), because he "grew up watching Brett Favre and Donald Driver and Bubba Franks." C'mon, DeAngelo. Nobody grew up watching Bubba Franks."

Last year the Giants went on that huge road winning streak. When they played the Patriots in Giants stadium, they lost. But on the road, only a month later with all the same players involved, they won. You can't say that home/road streaks don't mean anything. The Panthers are a different team at home, and a much better one at that. You can contribute a lot of that to the support of the home fans that you seem to be bashing all the time.

Ok, you have Team A and Team B. Both teams have the same record, both haven't lost at home. The teams play this week on MNF. Team B beat Team A previously.....TWENTY-SEVEN TO THREE. Totally shutting down the strength of A's offense, running game, in the process, while allowing their best recieving threat to flourish for one of his best games of the season. With the qb being the most important position BY FAR in football, Team B's qb has a knack for playing Team A. He hasnt lost to them in 5 tries and now he is on arguably the best team he's had while playing them. Team A's qb is interception prone, as well. CAN ANYONE GUESS WHICH TEAM IS WHICH???

Team B is the Panthers, Team A is the Falcons

thats an easy one

The Panthers beat the Falcons ass at home, shut down Michael Turner and made Matt Ryan look bad...but despite that, when they played in Atlanta, it was the Falcons who got the win...if you based your prediction of the 2nd game only on their first matchup, you'd be completely wrong and a fucking idiot

I see it being hard for the Panthers not to make playoffs where their record is right now, and with a win more than likely in the next 4 games putting them at 10-6, with that said, I think the Bucs have the advantage in the upcoming game, and I think they will win.

This is going to be the typical response by all critics because the current standings say 3 NFC South teams. Critics love to just restate the current standings or last years standings as their current predictions. But I think this is stupid. Why? Consider that in the next 4 weeks, that the Bucs play both ATL and Car; Car plays TB and NO; ATL plays NO and TB, things are going to get shaken up in the South in the next few weeks. ANd anyways, Sal says one thing and I say another, but cmon, who you gonna listen to???? Me or him???

Just for the record, Id love if the Cowboys didnt make playoffs because just like Garcia has the Panthers number, the Cowboys have ours. I can tell you that if we meet the Cowboys in the playoffs, I dont have a good feeling about that game. But if they dont make it in, then the only team in our way of the Super Bowl would be NYG, thats a big obstacle but still.
