Found this in the City Council minutes from 10/07/2009:

This encroachment is needed in order to maintain and repair an existing patio which has been in place for some 9 years. Recommendation: Approve the encroachment subject to conditions outlined in Resolution 1996-153; owner obtaining a right-of-away permit from Inspections Department prior to installation; and, owner contacting NC One Call Center 48 hours prior to excavation and remaining 10 feet from existing utilities. Upheld on Consent Agenda West/McFarlane – 8 ayes."

Yeah, the outside rennovation is something that they have been planning for a while and had all the permits and inspections done with for a while- there was just one piece of paper that needed to be signed and it sat downtown in someones office for months. I've heard that this will probably be more like 15-20 days to complete and get sittable... Sucks they didn't wait til after graduation

As far as the patio, I belive they are expanding it to take the place of those four parking spaces. At least that was the original plan.

Yeah, like I need anymore pint glasses. I still have two boxes in the garage that I never unpacked.

Also, anyone know what tap night is on Thursday? Looks like that will be my next chance to get out there. Also, I've been saving my 22 oz freebie for #100 for like three weeks. Give me some beer recommendations (and don't give me a 10% beer -- I feel like being able to open my eyes in the morning).

Thanks to the traffic pattern being changed on Morgan Street, during certain hours you can now park directly on the road.
