I dunno about the other forms, but on PS3 people can still glitch like crazy at several maps like Ambush and Overgrown. Every time I play Overgrown there is a fag that goes into the creek glitch in the middle.

I don't know what it is, but i cant seem to get anything going on COD4 anymore. I'm finishing each round right at 1:1 KD ratio. It's awful, it's like my reflexes are 1 second delay behind every enemy i encounter.

But then i put in WaW and have no problems going 2:1 KD or better.

A lot of people are playing the game early. Getting either very early released games or are using illegal copies on modded Xbox 360s. Thats where all the leaks have been coming from with perks/ kill streaks/etc. Infinity Ward was pretty quiet about this initially, and in the last few days, there appear to be widescale summary bans by Xbox for any user playing MW2 prior to the release date. I have found large number of threads confirming this on multiple boards.

Those who escape ban will appear to have their stats wiped out just prior to the 10th, so that there wont be someone with over 10,000 kills on the leaderboard the hour the game is released. Thats the one I am more concerned with. If the players got it early, and it isnt an illegal copy, no need to ban them. But their stats should be wiped completely.

there is no banning in correlation with mw2 at all. there simply was a very large ban wave recently that happened to occur at the same time mw2 leaked. I personally have been playing online multiplayer for about a week and have not been banned

That may be the case for you, but there are way too many bans right now on all the boards revolving around players that just happened to have MW2. You just may have not gotten caught yet. In any event, I dont want them to ban people. But your score should be reset.

Yea I noticed the same thing, I think its because the more skilled players have stuck with COD4 while all the MP40 spray and pray scrubs are rocking W@W. I have a 2.0-somethin k/d in COD4, and a 3.0-somethin k/d in W@W.

Since MW2 will likely include a merger of the two types of players, I guess I should aim for a 2.5-somethin in MW2. Either way, as long as I kill more than I die I will have fun.

I cant wait until christmas, when everyone in my squad is at 65 and all the new kids get MW2 for christmas and join in to get slaughtered.
