the city of eagleton is broke! watch as chris and ben try to develop a logical plan to assist the troubled city... and leslie develop a plan to humiliate eagleton further! including such jokes as: "wow, they have michael buble on retainer" -- because that's funny, right?

an hour long episode that had about a 15 minutes worth of good material. the flanderization is getting pretty transparent.

^Andy will be missing for a majority of the season while filming Guardians of the Galaxy. Hence the cast going to London (where he's filming) in order to give him a reason to be away.

I loved this episode. It could have served as an acceptable series finale, but at the same time I'm way more excited for next season than I should be at this point in a show's run.

From what I've read it sounds like a lot of people expect next season to be a 13 episode order to touch on what everyone's doing since the big shakeup in the parks dept in Pawnee. That was a great episode though - I thought that they'd announced a S7 just to throw everyone off with the way it all ended.

In terms of just making me laugh, I think the quality recently is down slightly when compared to around seasons 2-3, but what they have lost in the funny, i feel like they make up in episodes like this with a perfect blend of comedy and actual great emotional content. Jesus fucking christ they hit it out of the fucking park with this one. In my opinion, this episode and the wedding episode are right up there for the best 2 episodes a 30 minute sitcom has ever produced (although yes, this one was an hour).

There's one problem: he's a miniature horse, not a pony.

The show was dying. Making the jump was the only way to save it. I'm sure there will be a flashback here or there that goes into the gap, but picking up from the jump gets them out of the cyclical story traps they've been dealing with for nearly two years.
