OK, so Evan gets gastric bypass and loses alot of weight quickly and it's a good thing for him.

Jaime gets a lapband, struggles with her weight loss, but ultimately gets within 20lbs of her goal weight in just over 2 years, and that's a bad thing for her.

I see. Double standards and all. Totally understandable.

I was obese and took actions to make myself healthier. I didn't lose weight fast enough for you? I'm sorry, I didn't realize that weightloss surgery had a timeline in order for you to be a success story.

Unfortunately for you, you're not friends with Evan in the way that I am. Or at least, in the way that I was. He did in fact get gastric bypass, on May 5th 2009.

Gastric bypass works quickly. How do you think Evan lost like 150lbs in just over a year?

The lapband is designed to help you lose weight slower so that you don't have complications, vitamin deficiencies, and excess loose skin (for those that are super obese).

I don't see why Evan has tried to hide it from TWW as a whole, but there are quite a few people who know that Evan had bypass surgery. I don't see why he'd be ashamed about it, but whatever.

I actually talked to Evan about it, and it came straight from his mouth that there was a medical issue (which I'm not going to air out here, because it's not my place).

Congrats on losing weight, but don't try and act all high and mighty about it. I have a big ol' friend and he's lost around 70 pounds in less than a year (hell, half of one) by eating smaller meals...and having copious amounts of sex . You did well by going through with it, don't get me wrong, but sounds like you still have some work to do - physically and mentally.
